Tucson J to host citizenship ceremony

 The Tucson Jewish Community Center (the Tucson J) will be the host of the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services naturalization ceremony on Wednesday, July 26 at 10 a.m. in the Tucson J’s Ballroom.

One hundred new U.S. citizens will participate in the naturalization ceremony and originate from the following 19 countries: Bhutan, Chile, Colombia, Congo-Kinshasa, Democratic Republic of Congo, Guatemala, Guinea, Hong Kong, India, Iraq, Kenya, Lithuania, Mexico, China, Philippines, Sudan, Tonga, United Kingdom and Vietnam.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Scott H. Gan will administer the Oath of Allegiance.  USCIS Tucson Field Office Director Julie Hashimoto will deliver the welcoming remarks and President and CEO of the Tucson Jewish Community Center Todd Rockoff will deliver the keynote address.
