Temple Emanu-El plans Passover experience with Chef Janos Wilder

Chef Janos Wilder

In addition to its traditional Second Night Seder on April 11, Temple Emanu-El will celebrate the Passover holiday this year in an intimate setting with the “Janos Wilder Passover Extraordinary Experience” on Saturday, April 15 at the Carriage House, 125 South Arizona Avenue, Tucson at 6 pm.

Named the top chef in 2000 by the James Beard Foundation, Chef Janos Wilder will bring his award-winning creative flair to the task of preparing wonderful and surprising Passover foods for this event, pairing them with exceptional wines. Rabbi Samuel M. Cohon will lead this celebration of the Jewish festival of freedom.

The event is a fundraiser for youth education at Temple Emanu-El of Tucson. All are invited — Jewish or not — but space is limited. The Extraordinary Passover Experience is $225 per person, $400 for couples, or $1500 for a table.  RSVP to the Temple office at (520) 327-4501 by April 10.

There are opportunities for sponsorship of this program as well. Sponsorship prices are:  $1,000 for a page in the program; $650 for a half-page.  Contact Mona Gibson, (520) 235-5337, if you or your organization would like to place an ad in the program.
