Three Tucson rabbis representing three streams of Judaism will participate in “This I Believe,” part of the rabbi lecture series at Handmaker Jewish Services for the Aging, on Sunday, April 10, from 3:30-5 p.m. in the great room at Handmaker.
Rabbi Yossi Shemtov of Congregation Young Israel-Chabad, Rabbi Thomas Louchheim of Congregation Or Chadash and Rabbi Robert Eisen of Congregation Anshei Israel will give an introduction to their basic beliefs in historical order: Orthodox, Reform and Conservative, says Nanci Levy, Handmaker community outreach coordinator.
Incoming Handmaker Board Chair Phil Bregman will introduce the rabbis and moderate a Q&A session after they speak.
Light refreshments will be served. To RSVP, contact Levy at 322-3632 or nlevy@handmaker.org.
