An exhibit by LAURI MARKS KAYE, “A Tucson Portrait Story,” will be on display in the windows of the historic Roy Place Building, 44 N. Stone Ave., through Dec. 31. The line drawings depict people, places and events that make Tucson remarkable, from Gates Pass and Hotel Congress to monsoon rains. Kaye moved to Tucson in 1998 and opened Create Café & Catering, Inc., which she ran for 13 years. She’s now the artist behind Create for the People Ventures. TERI KAROBONIK has co-authored “Don’t Panic: A Legal Guide (in plain English) for Small Businesses and Creative Professionals.” Karobonik is a member of the product counsel team at Twitter, where she supports Vine and other products. She was previously a staff attorney at New Media Rights. She also co-founded and co-taught the Internet & Media Law Clinic at California Western School of Law. She received her J.D. from Santa Clara Law in California in 2012. She received her B.A. with honors in creative writing from the University of Arizona. Karobonik grew up in Tucson and graduated from Catalina Foothills High School.
