The University of Arizona Hillel Foundation will hold its 24th Annual Holocaust Vigil March 25-26. During this student-led event, thousands of names of people murdered in the Holocaust will be read aloud. This 24-hour reading will take place from noon on Wednesday, March 25 through noon on Thursday, March 26, at Old Main on the UA Mall.
There will be discussions and displays on the Holocaust. Participants are invited to paint ceramic butterflies for the Butterfly Project/Zikaron V’Tikvah — Remembrance and Hope, which commemorates the 1.5 million children murdered during the Holocaust. The butterflies will be on display at Hillel.
