The HT Challenge is a social media campaign initiated by the New Jersey Coalition Against Human Trafficking and supported by Women’s Philanthropy Social Action of the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona in an effort to create awareness and abolish modern day slavery. Sex trafficking is often associated with large sporting events and the Super Bowl is one of the largest events in which sex trafficking is occurring nationally. The HT Challenge will use the Super Bowl as a platform to generate discussion about the issue and communicate facts and statistics about human trafficking.
The Game Plan: Begin now–Post #HTChallenge images and information to your networks and encourage others to spread it to their networks. On Game Day: Turn off the half time show, discuss human trafficking and the need for abolition, then flood social medial to create a trend that demands attention.
