ADAM BUKANI, a junior at the University of Arizona, presented his findings from the 2015 Tucson Wellbeing Survey at a community forum on Friday, May 15 at Habitat for Humanity Tucson. The forum was hosted by the UA School of Sociology; the study was part of the 2015 Poverty in Tucson Field Workshop. Bukani is a 2011 Tucson Hebrew High graduate.
ALYSSA LEE was awarded a Girls Leadership scholarship from Camp Inc. in Boulder, Colo. At the Boulder Jewish Community Center’s recently launched entrepreneurship camp, participants work together to launch a product or service using skills learnd through daily team challenges, interactions with guest entrepreneurs, tours of local businesses and weekly “Shark Tank”-style competitions. Lee attends Unversity High School and Tucson Hebrew High.
