Disruptive Women in Health Care has named BETH BRAUN one of 16 Disruptive Woman to Watch in 2016. Based in Washington, D.C., Disruptive Women highlights women from a variety of disciplines that impact health and health care. Braun, a professional dancer, high school dance educator and mother of a survivor of childhood sexual abuse, started Esperanza Dance Project in January 2011. Esperanza Dance Project is a community-based collaboration that uses a multimedia dance performance to educate about the issue of childhood sexual violence and deliver a message of hope, strength and empowerment.
