Debra Sue Simon, 60, died Aug. 23, 2015.
Born at Tucson Medical Center in 1954, she was featured in the Arizona Daily Star as Perky Little Debra Sue. Mrs. Simon lived her entire life in Tucson. She graduated from Catalina High School, where she was a varsity gymnast. After graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science and certification in medical technology from the University of Arizona, she became one of the longest serving laboratory employees in TMC history.
Mrs. Simon is survived by her husband and high school sweetheart, Marc; children, Amy (Brett) Welander, Jeff (Katie) Simon and Jason Simon, all of Tucson; and two grandchildren.
Services were held at Temple Emanu-El with Rabbi Samuel M. Cohon officiating. Interment followed in the Temple Emanu-El section of Evergreen Cemetery.
