Beatrice L. Jaffe, 98, died July 11, 2015.
Born in Methuen, Mass., Mrs. Jaffe attended college for one year and worked in retail sales and customer service. In 1998, she moved to Tucson to be near family.
Mrs. Jaffe was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Barney Jaffe, and four siblings. Survivors include her children, Melvin (Joyce) Jaffe of Tucson and Steven (Barbara) Jaffe of Del Mar, Calif; five grandchildren, including former AJP assistant editor Mark (Rachel) Jaffe of New Orleans, and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held at East Lawn Cemetery with Rabbi Stephanie Aaron of Congregation Chaverim officiating. Memorial contributions may be made to Handmaker Jewish Services for the Aging, 2221 N. Rosemont Blvd., Tucson, AZ 85712 or handmakerfoundation.org.
