Yvette Lovett Appel, 87, died March 1, 2014.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Appel was a life member of Hadassah and the United Order of True Sisters. She was an honorary member of Congregations Chofetz Chayim and Young Israel.
Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Sam; children, Craig (Nicole) and Robin (Jeff); sister, Rita; brother, Jerry (Paulina); three grandchildren and one great-granddaughter.
Services were held at Evergreen Mortuary with Rabbi Samuel M. Cohon of Temple Emanu-El officiating.
