Why Marriage Matters AZ rep to speak at pride service

Tucson’s 6th annual multifaith pride service in support of Southern Arizona’s LGBTQ community, “Weaving a Common Sacredness,” will be held Tuesday, Oct. 14, from 7-9 p.m. at Temple Emanu-El.

Rev. Debra Peevey, faith outreach director from Why Marriage Matters Arizona, will be one of the key speakers. Rabbi Batsheva Appel and the Temple Emanu-El adult choir will be among the participants.

The evening will include a light reception and an opportunity to record a three-to-five minute marriage equality story for Why Marriage Matters Arizona.
