Victoria Hannah Yatsenko, daughter of Tatyana Nemenman and Dmitriy Yatsenko, will celebrate becoming a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, March 8 at Congregation Chaverim.
She is the granddaughter of Rita Divinskaya and Lev Nemenman and Anna and Yan Yatsenko, all of Tucson.
Victoria attends Esperero Canyon Middle School, where she is an honor student. She dances on the Dance Force-1 dance team and enjoys reading, skiing and travel.
For her mitzvah project, she and upcoming Bat Mitzvah Alexis Feder held a dance showcase with Dance Force-1 to raise money for Diamond Children’s at the University of Arizona Medical Center and the UA Steele Children’s Research Center to fund research on juvenile diabetes and celiac disease.
