Robert Londer, 87, died Sept. 7, 2014.
Born and raised in Minneapolis, Minn., Mr. Londer lived in Phoenix and Tucson for more than 40 years. He was a World War II veteran and a general contractor. He was also a member of B’nai B’rith and Beth El Synagogue of Phoenix and a Shriner. He was involved with Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Southern Arizona.
Mr. Londer was preceded in death by his wife, Charlotte Londer, and brothers, Lawrence, William and Mike Londer. Survivors include his children, Thomas A. Londer of Boston, Gary B. (Lynn) Londer of Phoenix, Joel T. (Edye) Londer of Denver, Carol (Londer) Wells of Tucson and Ira W. Londer of Phoenix; ten grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held in the Congregation Anshei Israel section of Evergreen Cemetery with Rabbi Robert Eisen officiating.
