Reid Kotwica

obit_Kowica photoReid Harris Margolis Kotwica, 36, died March 3, 2014 in West Hollywood, Calif.

A Tucson native, Mr. Kotwica attended the Monterrey Institute of Technology and Higher Education in Hermosillo, Mexico for a year before transferring to the University of Arizona where he obtained a degree in Spanish, communications and linguistics in 2004. He was a member of the Alpha Epsilon Pi fraternity and co-founded www.GreekYear, which spread to several colleges throughout the United States. After college he moved to San Diego, where he worked in various fields before becoming a flight attendant for Delta Airlines in 2008, based in New York and then Atlanta. In 2014, he moved to West Hollywood to pursue his dream of owning a high-tech company with long-time friends Jeff Raben and Zam Loomstein.

Survivors include his parents, Roland and Ronni Kotwica of Tucson; uncle and aunt, Harold (Susan) Margolis; and his partner, Will Senn.

Graveside services were held in the Congregation Chaverim section of Evergreen Cemetery with Rabbi Stephanie Aaron officiating.
