Milton Herman

obit milt hermanMilton Herman, 86, died Jan. 12, 2014, in Phoenix.

Born in Scranton, Pa., Mr. Herman attended Cornell University and enlisted in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Upon his return from the service, he completed his Bachelor of Science degree at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. After many years as a businessman in California, Europe and Nogales, Ariz., he and his wife retired to Phoenix to be near their children.

Survivors include his wife of 62 years, Harriette Capin Herman; children, Jill Herman and Susan Herman (Robert) Baumann; and five grandchildren.

Interment was in Scottsdale with Rabbi Jack Silver officiating.
