Jill and Herschel Rosenzweig will be honored next month at the annual Jewish Family & Children’s Services of Southern Arizona Celebration of Caring luncheon. Jill is chair of the JFCS board and Herschel, a psychiatrist, has been a volunteer consultant to JFCS clinicians for more than 20 years.

“This is well-deserved recognition,” says Jeanne Anderson, JFCS’s interim CEO. “Jill and Herschel care so much about children, the arts, education and the Jewish community. They are incredibly generous with their time and other resources. We are deeply grateful and appreciative of all they do.”

The luncheon will take place on April 24 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Westin La Paloma Resort and Spa, 3800 E. Sunrise Drive.

In addition to her volunteer leadership role with JFCS, Jill serves on the boards of the Tucson Jewish Community Center, Tucson Values Teachers, First Things First, United Way’s First Focus on Kids, and the Desert Song Festival. Herschel serves on the boards of The Drawing Studio and the University of Arizona School of Dance.

There is no cost for the luncheon, but attendees are asked to contribute to JFCS in honor of the Rosenzweigs. RSVP at www.jfcstucson.org. For more information, contact Patty Varela at 795-0300, ext. 2238, or pvarela@jfcstucson.org.
