Gary Paul Williams, 83, died Nov. 11, 2014.
Born in Yakima, Wash., Mr. Williams served in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve and was later employed in the wholesale food industry in Spokane, Wash., for 42 years prior to his retirement. He also enjoyed work as a dog obedience trainer. Mr. Williams served for many years as a foster parent.
Mr. Williams was preceded in death by his granddaughter, Alicia Owens. Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Terry Lynn (Jewell) Williams; children, Shayne (Jim) McCaslin of Tucson, Aaron Williams of Seattle and Heather (Rod) Snyder of Longview, Wash.; sisters, Cathy Eggleston of Ocean Shore, Wash. and Judith Rizzuti of Kennewick, Wash.; brother, Sam Rizzuti of Seattle; and six grandchildren.
Graveside services were held in the Temple Emanu-El section of Evergreen Cemetery, with Rabbi Samuel M. Cohon officiating.
