Congregation Bet Shalom will hold its 11th annual wine tasting and auction event on Saturday, March 29 at 7:30 pm at the synagogue.
The event will feature free tastings of at least eight kosher-for-Passover wines from around the world. Those attending can make a donation to Bet Shalom to receive bottles from such wineries as Ben Ami, Yogev, Bartenura and Hagafen. Selections will be available at prices from $10 to $40.
The event will include food, silent and live auctions, as well as gaming tables for blackjack, poker and other games, manned by professional croupiers. “The gaming tables were such a big hit at our ‘Beer, Bourbon, & Blackjack’ event, that many people asked to have them at the wine tasting,” says event chair Rosa Cohen.
Admission is $25, which includes $10 worth of gambling coupons. Funds raised will support charitable and educational services offered by Bet Shalom. For more information, visit www.cbsaz.org or call 577-1171.
