Tianna Liebeskind, daughter of Mary and Etai Liebeskind, will celebrate becoming a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Congregation Or Chadash.
She is the granddaughter of P’nina Liebeskind of Israel and Rina and Jim Liebeskind of Tucson, and Teresa and Daniel Hedberg of Tucson and the great-granddaughter of Nadeen Liebeskind and the late Kalman Liebeskind of Israel and Mary and Charles Hedberg of Tucson.
Tianna attends Booth-Fickett Math/Science Magnet School, where she is an honor student. She enjoys reading, music and writing.
For her mitzvah project, Tianna writes get well cards to congregants who are in need of a Mi Shebeirach prayer (the Hebrew prayer for healing).
