Rachael Beth Montgomery, daughter of Jodie and Brian Montgomery, will celebrate becoming a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, Oct.19 at Skyline Country Club with Congregation Chaverim.
She is the granddaughter of Herbert and the late MaraLynn Meshel and Patricia and Harvey Montgomery, all of Tucson.
Rachael attends Hermosa Montessori School. She participated in competitive gymnastics for many years and currently plays club softball. She enjoys bicycling, hiking, swimming, tennis, cooking and fine arts.
Her mitzvah project includes preparing food and feeding the homeless and fundraising for the Colorado flood victims.
