NATHAN RIX, son of Diana Rix and David Gibbs,will celebrate becoming a Bar Mitzvah on Aug. 24 at Congregation Chaverim.
Nathan attends Paulo Freire Freedom School and is interested in the fields of engineering and technology. He is on a First Robotics team, which encourages engineering among youth. He enjoys attending Camp Stein, a Jewish camp in Prescott. For his mitzvah project, he prepared food for the homeless.
