MAX ASHER NAVARRETTE, son of Carol and Martin Navarrette, will celebrate becoming a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, May 11 at Temple Emanu-El.
He is the grandson of Linda and the late Arthur Goldblatt of Las Vegas, and Margarita and the late Mauricio Navarrette of Bakersfield, Calif.
Max attends Emily Gray Junior High School, where he is on the principal’s honor roll with distinction. He plays soccer on a club team and enjoys motorcycle riding, hiking and camping. For his mitzvah project, he volunteers at the Living Faith Christian Center, where he prepares meals, serves and cleans up in their soup kitchen for the homeless.
