Gerald Blum, 88, died Dec. 29, 2012.
Born in New York City, Mr. Blum graduated from Stuyvesant High School in 1942 and New York University in 1949. He served in the Army Air Force and fought in China during World War II. In 1989, Mr. Blum retired as president and CEO of Fidelcor Business Credit Corp.
Mr. Blum is survived by his wife of 62 years, Rena; sons Samuel Blum, Howard Blum and Jonathan Blum; daughter-in-law, Peggy Blum; brother, Alvin (Jean) Blum; and three grandchildren.
Graveside services were held in New York.
