The Jewish Community Relations Council of the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona will hold a breakfast and panel discussion on “The Future of Higher Education in Arizona: Is the Current Model Sustainable?” on Friday, April 26, from 7:30 to 10 a.m. at the Tucson Jewish Community Center. The program is cosponsored by Hadassah Southern Arizona.
Peter Likins, Ph.D., the former president of the University of Arizona, will moderate the panel.
Panelists include Joaquin Ruiz, Ph.D., UA vice president of innovation and strategy; State Rep. Ethan Orr of Legislative District 9; Rick Myers, chair of the Arizona Board of Regents; Tim Bee, associate vice president for state relations at the UA External Relations Office; and C. J. Karamargin, vice chancellor for public information and federal government relations at Pima Community College.
