Andrew Joshua Gross, son of Craig and Lori Gross, will celebrate becoming a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, Oct. 12 at Temple Emanu-El.
Andrew attends BASIS Tucson North, where he is an honor student. Andrew enjoys baseball, basketball, swimming, skiing, reading and video games.
For his mitzvah project, he is raising money and awareness for Nothing but Nets, a program that fights malaria by purchasing and delivering insecticide-treated bed netting to countries in Africa, and providing meals to people living in a local shelter.
