Téa Elianna Weiner, daughter of Naomi and Tamir Weiner, will celebrate becoming a Bat Mitzvah on Sept. 28, 2013 with Congregation Bet Shalom at the Tucson Jewish Community Center.
She is the granddaughter of Liliane and the late Alexander Blumenberg of Tucson; Betty and the late Ira Weiner of Beverly Hills, Calif.; Walter and Shirley Greenes of Laguna Woods, Calif.; and Phyllis and Dow Tunis of Indio, Calif.
Téa attends St. Gregory College Preparatory School, where she enjoys drama and being a Peace Ambassador.
For her mitzvah project, she is involved in the National Charity League and also volunteers weekly with the Humane Society of Southern Arizona.
