Rochelle Beverly Sulman (née Chanen), 73, died Feb. 19, 2012.
Born and raised in Philadelphia, Pa., Mrs. Sulman moved to Pittsburgh with her husband, and in 1977 settled in Tucson, where she worked for Southwest Gas Company. She was involved in the Jewish community, especially Congregation Anshei Israel.
Mrs. Sulman was preceded in death by her husband, Michael. Survivors include her children, Dr. Erik (Dara Less) Sulman of Bellaire, Texas and Stacy (Moti) Kahana of Whippany, N.J.; mother, Anne; brother, Larry Chanen (Jack Burkhalter); and five grandchildren.
Services were held at Evergreen Mortuary with Rabbi Robert Eisen officiating. Interment followed in the Congregation Anshei Israel section of Evergreen Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the MD Anderson Cancer Center or for cancer research at the American Committee for the Weizmann Institute of Science.
