Gertrude Kane, 91, died Jan. 18, 2012.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Kane was a Tucson resident since 1961. She spent many years working with and for Pioneer Women (Na’amat), with trips to Israel on their behalf.
Mrs. Kane was preceded in death by her husband, Henry Kane. Survivors include her children, Ellyn (Jerry) Lippman of Tucson and Fred (Sharyn) Kane of Phoenix; five grandchildren and eight great-granchildren.
Graveside services were held at East Lawn Cemetery with Rabbi Robert Eisen of Congregation Anshei Israel officiating.
