Genealogy lecture to focus on Sephardim

David Graizbord, associate professor of Judaic studies at the University of Arizona, will be the guest speaker at the Tucson Jewish Genealogy and Oral History Group meeting on Sunday, May 13.

Graizbord will discuss how Sephardic Jews from the “golden age” of medieval Spanish Jewry, through the Inquisition, to modern times viewed and used genealogy.

The meeting will be held from noon to 3 p.m. at the Tucson Jewish Community Center, with Graizbord’s presentation from 12:45 to 2 p.m.
