Bryna E. Hellman, 82, died March 27, 2012, after a long battle with pancreatic cancer.
Born in the Bronx, N.Y., Mrs. Hellman graduated from Taft High School. She moved to Tucson in 1966. Mrs. Hellman was a life member of Hadassah and a member of AIPAC. She volunteered at Congregation Anshei Israel and other Jewish and non-Jewish institutions and charities. Mrs. Hellman worked with breast cancer patients as she was a breast cancer survivor for 36 years.
Mrs. Hellman was preceded in death by her husband, Philip Hellman, and son-in-law, C. Daniel Green. Survivors include her children, Jacqueline Francis Green of Tucson and Gary Michael Green; stepson, Maurice F. Hellman; and one grandchild.
Services were held at Evergreen Mortuary with Rabbi Robert Eisen of Congregation Anshei Israel officiating. Interment followed in the Temple Emanu-El section of Evergreen Cemetery.
