ZOE MICHELLE HOLTZMAN, daughter of Kyra and Barney Holtzman, will celebrate becoming a Bat Mitzvah with her cousin Rebecca Hipp on Saturday, Sept. 24 at Congregation Chaverim.
She is the granddaughter of Barbara and the late Stuart Holtzman of Tucson, and Linda and Michael Padden of Anchorage, Alaska.
Zoe attends Orange Grove Middle School, where she is an honor student and a member of the cross country, basketball and track teams. She is also vice president of her school and a member of the Tucson Jewish Community Center Stingrays swim team. For her mitzvah project, she collected and donated more than 1,000 books to the Reading Seed program.
