SAMUEL MAX ALBERTS, son of Angelle and Tim Alberts, will celebrate becoming a Bar Mitzvah with his cousin Sophia Plattner on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Congregation Chaverim.
He is the grandson of Heather and David Alberts of Tucson and Nora Harquist of Stafford, Vir.
Max attends Esperero Middle School. He plays club baseball and basketball and enjoys all sports.
For his mitzvah project, he volunteered at Primavera Foundation and is donating a portion of his gifts to Nothing But Nets, a malaria prevention program in Africa.
