The “Too Jewish with Rabbi Sam Cohon and Friends” radio show is launching JOiN (Jewish Organized i-Network), a business networking group with a focus on Jewish values and teachings.
JOiN will hold monthly programs that will include facilitated networking, educational components and a spotlight on local businesses.
The kick-off event will be held Thursday, March 10 at 5:30 p.m. at Barrio Brewing Company, 800 E. 16th St. Admission is $15, which includes a beverage and hot and cold appetizers.
Guest speaker Jon Cotter, sales manager at Tucson Chrysler, will talk about how honesty in business has been his key to success. Participants are asked to bring nonperishable single-serve food items such as cracker packs and granola bars for the Rabbi’s Pantry, an emergency food pantry at Temple Emanu-El.
