DAN ADLER of Keller Williams Southern Arizona, DAMION ALEXANDER of Tucson West Publishing and Long Realty and REBECCA GARFUNKEL of the National Alliance on Mental Illness – Southern Arizona are among those honored by the Arizona Daily Star in its annual 40 under 40 list, which recognizes young leaders in Tucson. Also named is TIM BOWEN of Creative Slice, who designed the AJP’s website, azjewishpost.com. The winners will be honored at an awards breakfast Oct. 6 at the Doubletree Hotel.
REP. GABRIELLE GIFFORDS will receive the 2011 National ATHENA Award, which honors a woman leader who demonstrates professional excellence, gives back to her community and assists other women in realizing their full leadership potential. It will be presented at the annual ATHENA Awards luncheon, which will be hosted by the Arizona Small Business Association on Sept. 22 at the Westin La Paloma Resort.
SALLY JUNTIFF was recently chosen as Woman of the Year for Hadassah Southern Arizona. Juntiff was a vice president of fundraising for the chapter for many years and is currently chair of the dining out fundraising progr.
