NICHOLAS SHANE MILLER, son of Yolanda Kelly Miller and Phillip Miller, will celebrate becoming a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, April 9 at Congregation Chaverim.
He is the grandson of Roslyn and George Miller and the late Ruth Miller, all of Tucson, and Sheila and Oscar Kelly of Sahuarita, Ariz.
Nicholas attends Tortolita Middle School where he is a member of the yearbook club. He enjoys creative writing, poetry, science, singing and running. For his mitzvah project, he is writing letters and op-ed pieces to the media to publicize efforts to prohibit firearms on all Arizona campuses.
