Naomi Duckler

Naomi Weinstein Duckler, 79, died July 17, 2011.
Born in Brooklyn, N.Y., Mrs. Duckler earned  bachelor’s and master’s degrees in nutrition and food science from Brooklyn College. She taught high school, middle school and adult education. She also taught at senior centers and had special success with Alzheimer’s patients.
Survivors include her husband of 59 years, Marvin Ira Duckler; children, Ariel Eva Duckler-Levy of Tel Aviv, Israel, Mordecai Sam Duckler of Minneapolis, Minn., Ana Miryam Duckler Forest of Berkeley, Calif., and Sara Rebecca Duckler of Walnut Creek, Calif.;  and 10 grandchildren.
Graveside services were held in the B’nai B’rith section of Evergreen Cemetery with Rabbi Richard Safran officiating.
