Miriam Sack

Miriam C. Sack, 94, died Oct. 3, 2011, in Scottsdale, Ariz.
Mrs. Sack graduated from the University of Chicago. She retired as a family counselor for the Chicago Board of Health. She was a long-time member of Congregation KAM Isaiah Israel in Chicago and Congregation Or Adam in Scottsdale; Mrs. Sack recently published a Jewish cookbook.
Mrs. Sack was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Lawrence H. Sack. Survivors include her children, Norman (Patricia) Sack, and Richard (Holly) Sack of Tucson; sister, Shirlee (Richard) Sher; and one grandchild.
Graveside services were held in the Congregation Chaverim section of Evergreen Cemetery with Rabbi Stephanie Aaron  officiating.
