The Tucson Jewish Community Library will hold its annual book sale on Sunday, March 6, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. at the Tucson Jewish Community Center. Proceeds will be used to support the activities of the library.
The library is seeking donations of books (fiction and nonfiction, Jewish and non-Jewish), which may be deposited in a box just inside the front door of the JCC. It is also seeking the donation of a computer to help patrons search the library’s files and other links.
Librarian Bob Cohen adds that the library plans to set up a reading sanctuary “in the cozy area outside the library, on the south side.” This area will include Jewish magazines and Jewish newspapers from the “home” cities of many residents. For more information or to offer suggestions, call Marilyn at 577-1975 or Bob at 320-5494, or visit www.tucsonjewishlibrary.org.
