LILY JEAN PETERS, daughter of Tom Peters and Annette Hillman, will celebrate becoming a Bat Mitzvah on Saturday, Oct. 15 at Congregation Or Chadash.
She is the granddaughter of Charles Hillman and the late Donna Hillman of Palm Desert, Calif., and the late Robert and Jean Peters of Chicago, Ill.
Lily attends Cross Middle School where she is an honor student. She enjoys soccer, volleyball, swimming and art. She sings in the Cross Concert Choir. For her mitzvah project, she has worked for the past two years with Iskashitaa Refugee Harvesting Network helping produce and harvest local food resoures to benefit the refugee community in Tucson.
