Young Leaders plan “Hava Tequila” party

The Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona’s Young Leadership Cabinet will hold its inaugural party — the Hava Tequila Bash — on Saturday, Dec. 18, from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m. at the Tucson Jewish Community Center. The JCC will cosponsor the event.

Hava Tequila will offer a nightclub atmosphere for attendees 21 and over. The event will include a DJ, nacho bar, a variety of tequila drinks, and other alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Event proceeds will benefit the JFSA Local Emergency Assistance Fund, or LEAF. JFSA launched LEAF to provide assistance with housing costs, food, job placement and more for local Jewish families in need.

“All of the Young Leadership committees have worked hard this year, planning community service, outreach, and philanthropy events. This bash connects another great social event to an incredible cause,” says Hava Tequila co-chair Nina Isaac.

Tickets are $30 before Dec. 18 and $36 at the door. Admission includes transportation home from the event. RSVP to Karen Graham at kgraham@ jfsa.org or 577-9393. Visit jewishtucson.org for more information.
