SETH MAXWELL BALLEN BROWN, son of Lenore Jay Ballen and Howard Mark Brown, will celebrate becoming a Bar Mitzvah on Saturday, Oct. 16 at Congregation Or Chadash.
He is the grandson of Frances Brown of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.
Seth attends Orange Grove Middle School where he is an honor student and plays the saxophone in the school band. He has a black belt in tae kwon do. He enjoys singing, reading, rollerblading and animals. For his mitzvah project, he is singing at Friday night services at Congregation Or Chadash and is a docent sharing an oral history of how and why Jews came to Arizona at the Jewish History Museum. He will also coordinate the Annual Pet Blessing at Congregation Or Chadash.
