David Cutler announces the engagement of his daughter, Shana Diane Cutler, to Mickey Amster, son of Rabbi Moshe and Natalie Amster of Los Angeles. Shana is the daughter of the late Felicia Cutler and the granddaughter of Lois and Ev Broder of Tucson and Esther Gross of Baltimore, Md.
Shana was born and raised in Tucson. She received a bachelor’s degree in fashion marketing from the Sy Syms School of Business at Yeshiva University in New York combined with the Fashion Institute of Technology. She is a partner in Felicia LLC, a Los Angeles-based design firm whose brands include Love Jay Girls and Sammi and David.
Mickey owns Amster Motors, a car consulting firm in Los Angeles.
The wedding is planned for Jan. 13, 2013 in Los Angeles.

Heisler/Cogan

Michael and Barbara Heisler announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Shayna Heisler, to Scott Philip Cogan, son of Jesse and Sandy Cogan of Livingston, N.J.
Laura graduated from St. Gregory College Preparatory School and the University of Arizona with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. She is currently a master’s candidate in childhood literacy at Hunter College in New York City. Laura teaches fifth grade at a public school in the South Bronx.
Scott graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with a bachelor’s degree in psychology and holds a master of arts in special education from Montclair State University. Scott currently teaches a fourth grade self-contained special education class in the Bronx.
The couple resides in Manhattan and is planning a Tucson wedding in May 2013.

Joshua Ian Brent and Liana Tsirklin announce their engagement.
Josh is the son of Dr. Wayne and Heidi Brent of Tucson and grandson of Louis and Helen Rib of Tucson and Philip and Shirley Brent of Encino, Calif.
Josh will complete his bachelor’s degree in optical sciences and engineering from the University of Arizona in May 2012 and is currently working under the NASA Space Grant Program.
Liana is the daughter of Eugene Tsirklin and Yelena Feinstein of Tucson and granddaughter of Volko Faynshtein and Lilya Pustilnik of Boston, Mass., and Lubov Tsirklina of Tucson and the late Leonid Tsirklin of Riga, Latvia.
Liana will complete her bachelor’s degree in biochemistry and molecular biophysics from the University of Arizona in May 2012 and is currently working for the Arizona Nutrition Network.
The wedding is planned for October 20, 2012 in Tucson.

Alayne and Bruce Greenberg announce the engagement of their son, Isaac Adam Greenberg, to Felicia Gail Bernstein, daughter of Heddy and Michael Bernstein of Altamonte Springs, Fla.
Isaac is the grandson of the late William and Adeline Greenberg of Tucson and the late William and Ruth Rosenberg of Phoenix.
Isaac has a B.S. degree in international relations from the U.S. Military Academy at West Point. He is a captain in the U.S. Army, serving as an intelligence officer at 3rd Army, U.S. Army Central Command at Fort McPherson in Atlanta, Ga. He served two tours in Afghanistan with the 10th Mountain Division.
Felicia is the granddaughter of Elly Soski and the late Manny Soski of Longwood, Fla., and Robert and Charles Bernstein of Orlando, Fla.
Felicia received a Bachelor of Science degree in finance and a Master of Science degree in decision information sciences, both from the University of Florida in Gainesville, Fla. For the past six years, she has worked as an executive liability broker with Marsh and McLennan Companies in Atlanta, Ga.
The wedding will be held in Orlando, Fla., in 2012.

Carolee and Daniel Asia announce the engagement of their son, Reuben Hillel Asia, to Drew Feith Tye, daughter of Debbie Feith Tye of Rydal, Pa., and the late Cary S. Tye.

Reuben is the grandson of Jean Seder Asia of Gwynedd, Pa., and the late Hilda and Benjamin Asia; and Elizabeth Gordon Thompson of Lancaster, Pa., and the late Mary Grow and Norman Thompson. Drew is the granddaughter of Rose Feith and the late Dalck Feith of Elkins Park, Pa., and Evelyn Simon of Bal Harbour, Fla.

Reuben is a graduate of St. Gregory College Preparatory School. He graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in political science and a minor in Middle Eastern Studies. He worked for the U.S. Navy in Washington, D.C., for two years before returning to Philadelphia, where he is a currently a student at the Temple University Beasley School of Law.

Drew graduated cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania with a bachelor’s degree in Jewish studies and a minor in creative writing. She recently published her first book, “Here and Not Forgotten: Stories of a Wiser Generation,” recounting the personal histories of eight residents at a senior living facility. She is an admissions counselor at Temple University.

The couple is planning an October 2011 wedding.

Joshua is the son of Dr. Richard and Peggy Langert of Tucson and grandson of Cantor Charles and Sally Julian of Tucson.
He received his bachelor’s degree in chemistry and biology from Washington University in St. Louis and his medical degree from the University of Texas-Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. He is currently a third year general surgery resident at The George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Leah is the daughter of Geoffrey and Sharon Friedman of Leawood, Kan., and granddaughter of Rosalie Rosenbloom of Dallas, Texas.
She received her bachelor’s degree in psychology from Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla., and her master’s degree in elementary education from Southern Methodist University in Dallas. She is currently a child-care provider.
The wedding is planned for Sept. 4, 2011 in Kansas City, Mo.

Stacey is a teacher at Congregation Anshei Israel Preschool. Zach is a first grade teacher at Roadrunner Elementary in Marana. Zach and Stacey met in B’nai Mitzvah class and solidified their friendship in USY (United Synagogue Youth). A March 2011 wedding is planned.

Michele is the daughter of Dana Goldstein and Gene Goldstein, both of Tucson. She attended the University of Arizona and is now a professional makeup artist, licensed esthetician, and laser technician in Tucson.

David is the son of Rosanne Clementi and Frank Clementi, both of Tampa, Fla. David graduated cum laude from Florida State University with a major in biomedical mathematics and a minor in chemistry. He is currently serving in the U.S. Air Force as an A-10 fighter pilot at Moody Air Force Base in Valdosta, Ga.

The wedding is planned for spring 2011 in Tucson.
