Mitzvah Magic seeks volunteers for gift basket program

Mitzvah Magic, a joint program of the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona Women’s Philanthropy and Jewish Family & Children’s Services, is seeking new volunteers.

“As a staple program for local Jewish families in need, Mitzvah Magic continues to need your help,” says Danielle Larcom, director of Women’s Philanthropy. Three times a year, teams of volunteers (called “circles”) provide Jewish holiday gift baskets for local Jewish families. The families are selected by JFCS and remain anonymous; the circles get general information, such as how many people are in the family they are matched with, and the ages of any children.

“If you are new to Tucson or have not yet participated, we would love for you to join us this year and see what the magic is all about,” says Larcom. To participate, contact Karen Graham at 577-9393 or kgraham@jfsa.org.
