Bonnie Wasserman, Ph.D., an assistant professor of Africana studies at the University of Arizona, will present “The Jews of the Caribbean” at a Hadassah Southern Arizona lunch on Sunday, Nov. 13, at 11:30 a.m. at Skyline Country Club.
Wasserman is currently writing a book on religions of the African Diaspora and their portrayal in popular culture. She has been awarded two Fulbright scholarships to study African Diaspora topics in Portugal and Barbados.
