Sylvia Daniels

Born and raised in New York City, Mrs. Daniels was a first generation American. In 1945, she married Max Daniels and they moved to the Bronx, N.Y. After retiring from the men’s apparel industry in 1971, she moved to Forest Hills, N.Y., where she was active in the local Jewish center, and then to Tucson in 2009.

Mrs. Daniels was preceded in death by her husband, Max; sister and brother-in law, Lillian and Louis Wolf; and her nephew, Alan Wolf. Survivors include her nieces, Marilyn (Alan) Speert and Terry (Perry) Hardee, and nephew, Jon (Gisele) Wolf, all of Tucson; four great-nieces and two great-great-nieces.

Graveside services were held in the Knights of Pythias section of Evergreen Cemetery with Rabbi Richard Safran officiating.
