Rose Bike, 87, died May 8, 2015.

Born in Chicago, Mrs. Bike graduated from Tully High School and worked in the family’s bakery and lingerie shop. She met Joseph Bike while accompanying her mother, who was recovering from an illness, on a trip to Tucson. She flew to Tucson to elope with Joe in 1951.

Mrs. Bike was preceded in death by her husband, Joe; sister, Idelle; and two siblings who died in childhood. Survivors include her children, Benita “Bonnie” Wallraff of Sunland, Calif., and Leonard Bike of Tucson; and Robert Haugen of Tucson.

Graveside services were held in the Temple Emanu-El section of Evergreen Cemetery with Rabbi Samuel M. Cohon officiating.
