ot Susan_Frankot Julie ZornTHE TUCSON JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER’S SUSAN FRANK (left) and JULIE ZORN have been chosen to participate in LEAP (Leadership Enrichment and Advancement Program), a Jewish Community Center Association continental leadership program. They are two of only 22 participants selected nationwide. Frank is the Tucson J’s director of health and wellness. Zorn is the J’s Jewish culture specialist.

ot michael polak - jccMICHAEL POLAK, coach of the TUCSON JEWISH COMMUNITY CENTER’s Stingrays swim team, was awarded the 2014-2015 Arizona Swimming Senior Coach of the Year as this year’s Senior State Championships. Polak was head coach of the Stingrays from 2010 to 2012 before focusing primarily on the senior group (ages 15-18).

THE COMMUNITY FOOD BANK OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA and EMERGE! CENTER AGAINST DOMESTIC ABUSE have been included on the 2015 list of 50 Best Nonprofits to Work For. The national list is published by The Nonprofit Times.

ot shai sokoSHAI SOKO has been named regional director of L’Visage Swiss Heritage. The company, owned by Ben Pinto and Idan Gal, recently celebrated its first anniversary in Tucson. Originally from Israel, where he earned a law degree, Soko has 13 years of experience in the skin care business.
