SHARON GLASSBERG, vice president of the JEWISH FEDERATION OF SOUTHERN ARIZONA, director of the Coalition of Jewish Education and principal of Tucson Hebrew High, was highlighted in Inside ICS, the newsletter of the Institute for Curriculum Services of the National Resource Center for Accurate Jewish Content in Schools, for her work presenting curriculum on “Judaism and Jewish History” and “A Historical Perspective on the Arab-Israeli Conflict and Peace Process” to teachers attending the Arizona Council for the Social Studies conference in October.

THE JEWISH COMMUNITY RELATIONS COUNCIL of the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona partnered with TEMPLE EMANU-EL under the leadership of Jill Rich to open the doors of Temple Emanu-El for Central American asylum seekers who were in Tucson over the Christmas holiday (when Greyhound bus services are busier and travel arrangements more difficult to arrange). JCRC and Temple Emanu-El did the same over the July 4th holiday weekend (see https://azjewishpost.com/?p=31698).

Three MESCH, CLARK & ROTHSCHILD lawyers were selected as 2015 Southwest Rising Stars by Super Lawyers, part of Thomson Reuters. David Hindman was selected in the area of business litigation, Cassandra B. Meynard in employment and labor, and Isaac Rothschild in bankruptcy: business.
