“Sequins & Bowties” will be the theme for Hava Tequila, the Jewish Federation of Southern Arizona Young Leadership’s annual party.

The Jan. 10 event, for ages 21 and over, will include a DJ, dancing, photo booth, dessert bar and signature drinks.

“We are building on last year’s success while choosing a new theme and location at the Historic Z Mansion. We know this event will appeal to everyone in their 20s, 30s and 40s. Come join Tucson’s up and coming for the party of the year,” says Avi Erbst, co-chair of the event with his wife, Gabby, and Shelly and Jaran Travis.

Proceeds will benefit the Jewish-Latino Teen Coalition, a unique program now in its 11th year. The coalition, a collaboration between the Federation’s Jewish Community Relations Council and the office of Rep. Raul Grijalva, brings together Jewish and Latino high school students for a multicultural exchange with an emphasis on social action.

Chardukian-Goldstein Investment Group is sponsoring the event, along with other local businesses. Tickets are $25 per person with a paid reservation before Jan. 2, or $35 at the door. The event begins at 8 p.m. To purchase tickets, go to www.jfsa.org/havatequila.
